Google Goggles is a visual search app that can identify and list out the information about the object. Google has officially launched the Goggles app last year for Android and today it finally reached for the iPhone users. The Google Goggles is comes with the Google Mobile app that can be downloaded from app store for free.

Computer vision is a hard problem and Google Goggles is still a Labs product. It works well for things such as landmarks, logos and the covers of books, DVDs and games. However, it doesn’t yet work for some things you might want to try like animals, plants or food.
So as of now living beings like animals and plants are little hard to identify using Google Goggle and we do agree is not thats easy. They have also posted a video demo on how the app works
