The word Komos mean an ancient Greek and Roman God of drinking and revelry. Let me talk about Komos the iPhone app unveiled for comic lovers. Komos has a big collection of editorial cartoons and comics that are listed alphabetically. A decent and simple app for comic reader and that what came in my mind when I initially had a look at the app.
The app has one of the simplest user interface to provide a list of editorial cartoons alphabetically. Once clicked, the cartoon of the day open and if you like the cartoon, you can go back to any published date by selecting the date button in the footer strip. Well, I loved this features to getting back to the previous publications.
Komos supports both landscape and portrait mode, but reading the comics using the landscape mode was quite readable compared with the portrait mode. One of the most admired feature of Komos was the ability to save or copy the strip and well you can even email it to your friends. The saved comics can be found on the photo gallery. Copy yet another must have feature that enables adding the comics to an MMS, pretty cool actually.
With its simplicity and much needed feature, Komos is an interesting app to that brings comics handy. Fun, Interesting and Informative comics strips to kill our lazy loading time and a must watch app for the enthusiast.
