Tweetie the most popular Twitter client for iPhone was purchased by Twitter last month. Ever since the purchase, the app remained with the name Tweetie 2 and last night as many expected the app was renamed to Twitter for iPhone. The app goes with the version 3.0 and its currently available with the name “Twitter”. The file size of the application looks lesser than its previous version 2 and we expect Twitter would have added more features to its Twitter for iPhone, version 3.0.
