 You need to create a ZoomIt! account for yourself to get started. You can invite your friends on Facebook, Twitter and by sending them invites via email. Once you open the app, you see a series of snapshots which introduce you to the game. To start playing, take a snap of an object or select a picture from your photo library. Next, you have to select a specific point in the photo to zoom in – for example, in a cat’s photo you can mark its leg as the point to zoom in. The selection of specific point is crucial to the game because it decides the level of difficulty. Once you are ready, you can send it to your friends and let them guess the object. Your friend has six turns to guess the object, and for each turn the photo gets enlarged. Your job is to click on one of the three buttons to provide feedback like “This is right!”, “Wrong, but close” and “This is way off” for the each turn your friend takes.

The more turns your friend takes, the more points you get, but if the picture is too hard you don’t get any points. You can play multiple games at the same time – you can snap many photos and send it to different friends simultaneously. The game can be played by reversing roles – your friends can challenge you with their snaps and you need to do the guessing. You can save a particular photo which has baffled your friends and use it later.

 ZoomIt! has a befitting background image with cool graphics. It has an interactive chat option using which you can share clues and comments. The app’s design helps you navigate to subsequent screens easily. You get push notifications to remind you to about your friends’ challenges which you haven’t responded to yet. ZoomIt! has a help section which lets you know the ins and outs of the game. You also have options to share your scores on Facebook and Twitter. The music synchronizes well with the gameplay.

You can upgrade to the premium version by paying $1.99 for unlimited gaming action. I would recommend adding a timer option to make the game fast-paced and more challenging. Nevertheless, ZoomIt! is a fun-filled brain teaser which you can enjoy with your family, friends, and colleagues.
