Chateaudun, France – Topdune Studio is pleased to announce the release of its new version (2.1) of Calligraphy Handbook. Learning and practicing are the basis of calligraphy. Since the beginning, our application provides the best tools for learning and training in the art of writing beautiful letters. Guide lines, grids, letter models with ductus, and word tracing make your learning easy and highly rewarding.
In this last update, we encourage users to more creativity with new features for personal artworks: layers for higher performance, and in-app gallery for better storage and navigation.
In fact, a beautiful piece of calligraphy needs more than a few minutes to be completed. Usually, the process starts with a rough sketch of the project. You will correct this first draft one or several times. Then you draw your letters, make them perfect. At the final step, you will add some patterns and decorations.
This creation process needs more tools than a simple piece of (digital) paper and some grids. You will need place to save unfinished works, or several copies of your draft. You will also need tools to make clean improvements, allowing many cancellations and moves.
All these actions are now possible with the layers and the in-app gallery. Layers can be moved, dimmed, merged or duplicated. The gallery allows unlimited work storage. So, you can save drafts, unfinished works, or draw again a saved work.
