New York, New York – Magzter, the world’s largest digital magazine newsstand, introduces an all-new exciting pricing strategy for its Indian catalogue of magazines following Apple’s announcement of lower price tiers. Under this new pricing structure, users can purchase their favorite regional magazines starting from INR 10 and enjoy reading them on the web, or on Magzter’s iOS and Android apps. Previously, all the magazines which cost less than INR 70 were also billed at $0.99, but now an INR 20 magazine will be billed at INR 20 and an INR 10 magazine will be billed at INR 10 rather than at INR 70, which was based on Apple’s old price tier.
Earlier, publishers were not able to price the single issues of their digital magazines in accordance with the respective cover prices because Apple had minimum price restrictions, which was usually more than the cover price. However, with the latest lower price tiers in place, publishers can overcome this problem and set a single issue’s price as per its original cover price. This new pricing structure on Magzter is expected to greatly boost the consumption of digital magazines in India.
Thousands of best-selling magazines are available under this new pricing structure including India Today Hindi, Outlook Hindi, Femina Hindi, Femina Tamil, Ananda Vikatan, RobinAge, Grihalakshmi, Vannathirai, Kungumam, Aval Vikatan, Sakthi Vikatan, Andhra Bhoomi Monthly, Junior Vikatan, Nakkheeran, Mathrubhumi Arogyamasika, Weekly Sadhana, Anokhi, Namma Adayalam, Puthiya Thalaimurai, Puthiya Thalaimurai Kalvi and CW Interiors.
Interestingly, Magzter’s ‘All you can read’ subscription model, Magzter GOLD, gives readers unlimited access to all the aforementioned magazines along with 4,000 other best-selling international titles and curated premium articles for a low monthly price of INR 399.
